Kidnapping, secrets and of course ROMANCE collide in Prime Video’s upcoming Spanish original Drawn Together – (Enfrentados: Marfil) based on the bestselling novels by Mercedes Ron!

Prime Video has officially revealed the first look at Drawn Together: Enfrentados – Marfil, a brand-new Spanish-language romantic thriller based on the bestselling novels by Mercedes Ron. The project is part of the platform’s ongoing collaboration with the globally popular author and is already generating buzz ahead of its 2026 release.

Set to launch exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories, Drawn Together continues the streamer’s expansion into international, fan-driven adaptations.

What is Drawn Together about?

The story follows Marfil Cortés, the daughter of a wealthy Spanish businessman living in New York. Her seemingly perfect life takes a dark turn when she is suddenly kidnapped—only to be mysteriously released soon after.

In response, her father assigns Sebastián Moore, a guarded and enigmatic bodyguard, to protect her. While Marfil is fiercely independent and Sebastián remains emotionally distant, the two are drawn into a complex and dangerous connection as new threats emerge.

Blending romance, suspense, and high-stakes drama, the story promises a slow-burn relationship set against a backdrop of secrets, shifting loyalties, and hidden danger.

Cast and creative team

The film stars Ester Expósito (Élite) as Marfil and Hugo Diego García (The Substance) as Sebastián. Supporting cast includes Eric Massip, Pablo Molinero, Zoe Bonafonte, Lluís Homar, and Joaquín Ferreira.

Behind the scenes, the project is produced by Pokeepsie Films (Banijay Iberia), with Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang producing. Direction comes from Óscar Pedraza, with a screenplay by Sofía Cuenca.

Based on a global phenomenon

Drawn Together adapts the Enfrentados duology (known in English as Drawn Together and Drawn Apart), one of Mercedes Ron’s most popular series. The film marks another step in Prime Video’s wider “House of Ron” partnership, which has already brought multiple bestselling titles to the screen.

Release details

While an exact premiere date has not yet been confirmed, Drawn Together: Enfrentados – Marfil is set to debut in 2026, streaming exclusively on Prime Video as part of the standard subscription.
