What Is Passionflix? (And Why I Just Spent £140 to Join the Signature Membership)

If you’ve been anywhere near my content lately, you’ve probably heard me mention Passionflix more than once… and if you’re sitting there thinking, “wait… what even is that?” — don’t worry, this one’s for you.

Let’s get everyone on the same page.

So… what is Passionflix?

In the simplest terms, Passionflix is a streaming platform dedicated entirely to romance — and not just any romance. We’re talking about your favourite love stories brought to life from bestselling books. Think emotional, dramatic, sometimes spicy, and very much made for the fans who live for that kind of storytelling (so… us).

But what makes it stand out is that it’s not trying to be like every other streaming service. It’s niche, it knows its audience, and it leans fully into that romance-first identity — which is probably why it’s built such a loyal fanbase.

And honestly? They’ve got some big things in the works right now.

We already know they’re continuing with The Black Dagger Brotherhood Season 2, which I will be talking about because if you know, you know… the hype is very real. On top of that, they’re working on adaptations like Come Away With Me and Beauty From Surrender — and you already know I’m going to be covering all of it.

Okay but… memberships?

Here’s where things get a little more interesting.

Passionflix isn’t just a “pay monthly and watch” situation. Yes, you’ve got your standard subscription, which gives you access to all the films and series on the platform — nice and simple.

But then… there’s another level.

They offer something called Signature Membership, which is more of a premium, fan-focused experience. This is where things go beyond just watching content. We’re talking:

They’ve announced that Signature Membership is closing to new members from May 1st.
Yep. Closing.

Which suddenly makes it feel a lot more exclusive.

So… what did I do?

I took a leap.

I went back and forth (a lot), weighed it up, probably overthought it — and then decided to just go for it! I signed up for the Signature Membership before it closes on May 1st 2026

Because if I’m being completely honest… I don’t just want to watch from the sidelines. I want to be closer to this space, especially with how much I already cover romance adaptations and Passionflix content.

But let’s be real for a second…

Let’s be honest, it’s a lot of money for a subscription.
